The COVID-19 pandemic has underlined the importance of having access to accurate real-time information. Recognizing this need, Salesforce and its companies (MuleSoft, Tableau) worked quickly in mid-2020 to provide an open, API-enabled COVID-19 data platform with a particular focus on helping companies plan their phased re-openings.
